| Great climb, great company, great scenery!!! It sure was a tough climb but was worth all the effort. Excellent work with crossing the creeks. | Steve said that this would be our most "memorable" climb of the summer, and it will be for me. Three different comments about the approach were "hellacious", "brutal" and "most varied I've seen." It was definately a challenge, but worth it to be surrounded by so much beauty! Summit day was easier then the approach, and thankfully it was overcast on the ascending portion. Steve is the ultimate organized, serving, safe leader. Thanks for hauling our packs across the river crossing in the hot sun. That was a workout on it's own! I enjoyed everyone's company, especially meeting some new friends |
